Following the continuation of the Company's share buy back programme, the Company purchased on 23 April 2002, 13,350,001 ordinary shares of 0.5p each at 8.625p per share.
Since the buy back programme commenced in December 2001, the Company has purchased a total of 19,200,001 ordinary shares at an average price of 8.3p per share.
The number of Artisan shares in issue following this buy back is 268,862,759.
