Artisan (UK) plc is a house builder and commercial business park developer with a proven track record of success operating in the UK.
Under the Chairmanship of Michael Stevens, Artisan (UK) plc specialises in developing residential properties, through Rippon Homes Limited and business parks, through Artisan (UK) Developments Limited.
Artisan was incorporated in England and Wales in September 1998 with its main country of operation being England. Artisan was admitted to the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange in December 1998, developing commercial property opportunities, primarily in the Cambridgeshire area. By 1999 Artisan (UK) Developments launched our commercial development activities with two new business parks in Peterborough and Godmanchester.
Towards the end of 2000 we substantially expanded our house building activities by the purchase of Rippon Homes which operates mainly in the East Midlands and Yorkshire marketing a range of property sizes and styles, principally aimed at the owner occupier. Rippon Homes also incorporates the Living Heritage brand of more exclusive properties.
Michael Stevens joined the Board in May 2002 and was invited to take over the Chairmanship in August that year. The management is led by Chris Musselle, the Chief Executive and his fellow Executive Directors John Jones and Michael Eyres.
