Artisan (UK) plc specialises in developing residential properties, through Rippon Homes Limited and Artisan (UK) Developments Limited. Some investment property is held by Artisan (UK) Land Limited.
Artisan was incorporated in England and Wales in September 1998 with its main country of operation being England. Artisan was admitted to the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange in December 1998, delisting in Jan 2012. As a listed company good governance was necessary and maintained and this ethos has been continued since delisting. In 1999 Artisan (UK) Developments launched our commercial development activities with business parks in Peterborough and Godmanchester, and has now developed business parks at 14 locations.
Towards the end of 2000 we substantially expanded our house building activities by the purchase of Rippon Homes which operates mainly in the East Midlands and Yorkshire marketing a range of property sizes and styles, principally aimed at the owner occupier. Rippon Homes also incorporates the Living Heritage brand of more exclusive properties.
